An investor's artifact: the checklist. You can download it for free

One of the most important artifacts or tools for investors is our “checklist”. A checklist should be personal and will be shaped over time by your own learnings, but I’ll get you started with a simple checklist.

Sign up for my newsletter and receive a free checklist - perfect for a beginner or as inspiration for the more advanced investor.

The checklist I'll share with you is meant to get you started as a value investor. As you progress with your value investing practice, you’ll want to add more questions, more in-depth calculations of company numbers and ensure you ask the critical questions and reflect on your own biases. I have several checklists and it takes me extensive time to complete them. Several hours spent and months of studying. I must admit, I have a wonderful time digging into a company.

Charlie Munger describes it this way:

“You need a different checklist and different mental models for different companies. I can never make it easy by saying, ‘Here are three things.’ You have to derive it yourself to ingrain it in your head for the rest of your life.”

To download the checklist please click on this link. The link will take you to a website, where you sign-up for my newsletter and can download a PDF file with the 3-page checklist. My newsletter comes out every time I update the blog and if you don't like the content in the newsletter (of course I hope I add value) you can unsubscribe at any time.
